Gorenjska banka d.d., Kranj (the Bank) is a joint-stock company incorporated in Slovenia. The Bank’s main activity is accepting the deposits of natural and legal persons, and extending loans out of these funds for its own account. Moreover, the Bank also provides numerous other financial services. Based on the report on the harmonisation with the new Banking Act, on 9 June 2000 the Bank of Slovenia renewed the authorisation granted to Gorenjska banka to provide banking and other financial services pursuant to the above Act. Both banking and financial services are provided to customers within the business network, involving 28 branch offices. The customers of Gorenjska banka avail themselves of the LINK electronic bank and ATMs. The system of national network comprises 50 ATMs owned by Gorenjska banka. Additionally, the Bank is a part of a nation-wide system of ATM covering the whole territory of Slovenia.
