| The JSC "LATEKO BANKA" was established on 29 April 1992. Since that time the bank has been successfully operating in the Latvian and international financial markets, offering its services to a wide range of clients – from natural persons to international industrial enterprises. The bank is conducting its activity in such a way that the daily cooperation with its clients is maximally convenient and accessible. The JSC "LATEKO BANKA" is actively working on creation of new products, putting on the first place the quality of services, not forgetting at the same time of making tariffs of the bank’s products advantageous and accessible. The JSC "LATEKO BANKA" is one of a few banks in Latvia that receives an international rating from Fitch Ratings, starting from the year 2002. In 2005, the international financial magazine "The Banker” has named the JSC "LATEKO BANKA" the best bank in Latvia, emphasizing the fact that in its development strategy the JSC "LATEKO BANKA" pays special attention to information technologies, which allows the bank to offer to its clients new services and convenient solutions. In connection with which, now 51% of the bank’s equity is held by the company Straumborg ehf., represented by Jon Helgi Gudmundson.
