| AS “Baltikums Bankas Grupa” was founded in 1994. The companies that are included in AS “Baltikums Bankas Grupa”, offer a full spectrum of financial and insurance services. AS “Baltikums Bankas Grupa” belongs AS “Akciju komercbanka “Baltikums”” and also a number of the financial and intermediary companies operating in interests of group and its clients. AS “Baltikums Bankas Grupa” through AS “Akciju komercbanka “Baltikums”” controls life insurance company AAS “Baltikums Dzīvība”, participates in AS “Baltikums Apdrošināšanas Grupa” and also has indirect participation (through shareholders) in reinsurance company SE “Rīga Re”. AS “Baltikums Apdrošināšanas Grupa” - the Latvian insurance group which includes risk insurance companies AAS “Baltikums” and UAB “Baltikums Draudimas” (Lithuania). SE “Rīga Re” - the European commercial society being under jurisdiction of Latvia and specializing on reinsurance. In structure of the property in 2006 there were essential changes, and shareholders AS “Baltikums Bankas Grupa” instead of physical persons became the corresponding holding companies belonging families and physical persons: SIA “Alexander Peshkov Family Holding”, SIA “Sergey Peshkov Holding”, SIA “Andrey Kochetkov Holding”, SIA “Oleg Chepulsky Holding” and SIA “Ivan Ulyanov Holding”. In conformity by plans for development in 2006 the operative management of insurance and bank business is centralized in the corporate center in Riga, and from the beginning of 2007 restructuring of the companies, transfer of actives of the insurance companies under bank group and transition to the uniform action of financial conglomerate AS “Baltikums Bankas Grupa” will come to the end. |
