| Emporiki Bank - Bulgaria EAD was founded in 1994 under the name “Bulgarian Investment Bank” by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and a group of Bulgarian banks and other shareholders. In mid-1996 the Commercial Bank of Greece (“CBG”) became a shareholder of the Bank, and appointed its senior management. As of February 2004 the Bank was renamed to EMPORIKI BANK – BULGARIA EAD. EMPORIKI BANK – Bulgaria EAD is a member of the Association of Commercial Bank in Bulgaria , the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, the Central Securities Depository and the Bulgarian International Business Association (BIBA). |
